OK, so in about 25 mins I will be leaving work and driving immediately to Houston to Fly to COSTA RICA.   I am so excited I could spit.  I will be down there for a week to celebrate the marriage of my great friend Peter Thompson to Katy Craig.  No word weather it will be Craig-Thompson, Thompson-Craig, Craigson, Thomaig. or just Craig or Thompson.    I am hoping for Thomaig, but I doubt it.   I will be taking lots pictures and having lots of fun.  I can't wait for the airport bar.

I've got exactly 5 seconds so here goes...

Two more days of work then i get to drive to houston for xmas then drive back up on sun to work for two more days and then drive to houston to fly to COSTA RICO!!!!!  yippy.

Going to breakfst at old south with my grandma and her husband on sat morning before i go to h-town.  that may be weird, but it'll be nice to see them.  its been a long time.

i got a hair cut, FINALLY.  it looks good i think.  im bored with my hair now so i need some fresh ideas.

Fun and exciting weekend!

All sorts of friends are in town  Kelly Ann Cowdery in from Akron, OH, Kathleen Council Jeffery in from Austin, TX, Austin Cartwright Dixon in from Atlanta, GA all for the ordination of Heather Marie Patriacca for service in christian ministry which is today (sunday) in a couple hours and at which I will be leading the Call to Worship. 

Kathleen and Austin are staying at my apt. and it kinda looks like a dirty fag exploded in there... there are dry cleaning bags, towels and various hygene and other primping acoutrements strewn about haphazardly.  (PS those who know me know that I use the work fag in a very loving and personal manner.)

The other manager at the Bistro went into labor this morning on my day off so I had to go in.  It was very inconsiderate of her to have her baby on the busiest day of the year.  Who knows when I will have another day off.  On the other hand, it's finally happened, so there is no more wondering everyday if her water will break at work.

Last night (about the time Liz went into labor probably) I was at Heather's apt.  She had a great Sex in the City night with friends and flirtinis.  I won a glow in the dark heart and a daisy shaped note pad.  Ok, so the party was a little on the feminine side, but still a blast.  (Jed, I've got a heart on for you).

I also called Central Market today because my mom wants to cook a "center cut standing rib roast" for christmas dinner.  Well at cental market it's $17.50 a pound.  Does that sound rediculous to anyone else?  I called Tom Thumb too, they said rib roast was on special for $3.99/lb regular $8.99/lb  which sounds much better.  So Tom Thum, you have won my business with your low low prices!  Way to go!

Bonus question:  What is a center cut standing rib roast, and does it ever get to sit down?

Went carroling with the church tonight.  Always fun.  Well it sounded fun.  I want to go look at christmas light somewhere but I dont know where.  There has got to be some neighborhood where everyone is required to decoate and all the streets have themes.  Anyone know where in Fort Worth that would be.  The lights in my neighborhood are just a little disapointing. 

THOSE INFLATABLE SNOW GLOBES ARE RIDICULOUS!!! GET RID OF THEM!!

Only 2 1/2 more weeks till I'm in sunny Costa Rica!!!  Are you guys as excited about that as I am????  I thought so.
